US Trust Hires Two Senior Execs For Menlo Park

Bank of America Merrill Lynch has hired two senior executives for its US Trust wealth management office at Menlo Park. Robert Kamme is now a senior vice president while Jeffrey Quijano takes the role of senior trust officer .   Kamme was previously the managing director for institutional equity sales at Morgan Stanley.

Perspecta Trust Makes Triple Hire As AuM Hit $1 Billion

Perspecta Trust, the New Hampshire-based trust and wealth management firm, saw its fiduciary assets under supervision cross the $1 billion mark at the end of October, representing a fourfold increase from 2010, and has expanded its management team with three hires. The firm attributed a large part of the rise in assets to changes made in the state's trust system over the past seven years, which have made the area more attractive to investors . Since 2006, the number of chartered trust firms in New Hampshire has doubled, the company said in a statement.

Barclays Wealth Continues Hiring Drive Across The US, More To Follow

Barclays Wealth has hired six investment representatives at offices across the US and more appointments are set to follow by the year-end, the firm, part of UK-listed banking group Barclays, said today. The hires are for Barclays Wealth’s offices in Boston, New York, Dallas and Miami . “With a robust hiring pipeline, we look forward to welcoming several more professionals to the firm by year-end,” said Mitch Cox, head of Barclays Wealth Americas, and head of research and investments globally for the firm.

US Trust Private Bankers Move To Citi's Phoenix Office

Citi Private Bank has added three senior bankers to its Phoenix office, the Phoenix Business Journal reports. Effective November, Michelle DeJean Schechner will join the company as managing director and private banker, while Christopher Klecka and Jessie Hall joined as director, private banker and vice president, banker associate respectively in September . All three report directly to Hale Behzadi, the head of Southern California and Arizona for Citi Private Bank.

First Foundation Names US Trust Advisor To Fill MD Post

First Foundation Advisors, investment management and trust firm, has named veteran wealth manager Grant Withers as managing director. Withers was previously a private client advisor for US Trust and a financial advisor for Bernstein Global Wealth Management in Los Angeles . In this new role, he will be working with high net worth individuals, families and their professional advisory teams.

First Foundation Bank, the Irvine, CA-based investment and wealth planning firm,  appointed Stuart Bailey as vice president and private banker. Bailey most recently served as regional president for Sunrise Bank in Palm Desert, CA . Manulife Asset Management named Jacqui Allard as president of its Canadian operations.

City National Hires Tax And Financial Planning VP

Los Angeles-headquartered City National Bank has hired Paul DeLauro as a senior vice president and manager of tax and financial planning. He will report to Richard Gershen, executive vice president and director of the bank's wealth management division .   DeLauro joins from US Trust Bank of America Private Wealth Management in Seattle, where he was a senior vice president and regional trust executive.

Former JP Morgan Private Banker Leads US Trust Northeast

US Trust, part of Bank of America's Global Wealth and Investment Management unit, has appointed Raymond Piacentini as Northeast managing director. Piacentini is a veteran in the wealth management industry and most recently served as managing director for private banking at JP Morgan Chase . Prior to that, he held senior positions at several wealth firms including Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Smith Barney and the Private Bank at The Bank of New York.

Cary Street Partners Appoints Endowments Vet As Research Head

Cary Street Partners, the Virginia-based wealth management and investment banking firm, has appointed William Akmentins as director of research. Akmentins was previously the director of public investments at Southern Methodist University where he managed the school's $1 . 2 billion endowment.
