Bob Diamond resigned as chief executive of Barclays in the wake of a LIBOR-rigging scandal that has rocked the financial industry. Eaton Vance Investment Counsel, a subsidiary of New York-listed Eaton Vance, appointed William Gillen as vice president of business development . Gillen will be responsible for enhancing its presence “in the marketplace and overall marketing efforts,” as well as managing select client relationships, reporting to David McCabe, president of EVIC.

California’s Beverly Hills Wealth Management has appointed industry veteran Steven Stahlberg as western division director, with immediate effect. Stahlberg joins BHWM with over 30 years of industry experience and will focus on growing and developing the firm’s presence on both a regional and national scale, according to a statement . “I chose BHWM for the ‘entrepreneurial’ opportunity it offers its wealth management advisors to be owners of the business and contribute to the creative and intellectual process,” Stahlberg said.

Robert Bartenstein, who previously served as chief of firm strategy, replaced Sirianni . Robert Kaplan, co-chief of the asset management unit at the SEC’s enforcement division, joined Debevoise & Plimpton as a litigation partner resident in Washington DC.

Beverly Hills Wealth Management, the registered investment advisory firm, has launched an office in San Diego, CA, adding financial advisor Taylor Schulte to spearhead new operations in the area. Schulte, who was previously a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley, will provide wealth management and portfolio development services to clients, the firm said . The San Diego office represents the firm’s third office overall; its headquarters are in Beverly Hills, with an additional office in Phoenix, AZ, which opened in January.

Beverly Hills Wealth Management, the registered investment advisory firm serving high net worth individuals, families and businesses, has hired Joe Ellison as a senior vice president and wealth management advisor. In his new role, Ellison will concentrate on HNW portfolio construction and investment management, the firm said . Prior to Beverly Hills, Ellison was a managing director at JP Morgan from 2009 to 2012, and a senior vice president at Morgan Stanley from 1992 until 2009, where he worked with corporations, as well as individuals, developing 401(k) plans, managing cash, bond and equity portfolios, and building estate plans.

Beverly Hills WM Launches Cloud-Based Dashboard For Independent Space

Beverly Hills Wealth Management, a registered investment advisory firm specializing in high net worth clients, has launched a cloud-based dashboard for RIAs called BHWM Maestro. The dashboard was developed in-house by BHWM along with Intel, the software giant, and allows RIAs and advisors to consolidate their operational, sales and compliance tools into a “branded, controlled, cloud accessible environment,” the wealth manager said in a statement . Intel provided the identity access management component.

Previously, Lederman was head of Neuberger’s wealth planning and general counsel . In her new role, she reports to Kenneth Rende, who has been head of Neuberger Berman’s wealth management business since 2009.
