CAIS has launched CAIS Exchange, an online alternative investment marketplace for wealth managers.

CAIS-X offers products such as hedge funds, private equity and physical precious metals alongside due diligence reports from Mercer. It also provides portfolio construction and analytics tools and an electronic subscription and redemption process for streamlined trade execution.

CAIS said that “in all circumstances” it will leverage the aggregate use of the platform to bring down product costs for end-users.

Advisors can execute primary transactions online while positions integrate through the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation’s Alternative Investment Products protocol with custodians including Fidelity, Pershing, TD Ameritrade, Charles Schwab and others.

CAIS, a New York-based financial technology provider, does not manage proprietary products or funds.
